Voice

Everyday I see on the news, in the papers, online...everywhere you turn about a child being murdered....It makes me furious that certain children get their cases publicized repeatedly and yet others you hear their stories once or twice and that's it.  What is wrong with the world we live in?  Are we such a selective country that only certain people matter?  My heart breaks for all these poor helpless children.. Some murdered by people who gave them life....Some by strangers... Regardless it's senseless!  We should all stand up and take notice and we should all become a voice for all these children...  We can speak up for everything else,  why not for victims?  To see the impact such a tragedy has on a family is heartbreaking.  But, to see not just the media but everyday people just sit back and watch all these children be swept under the rug and forgotten about is just ridiculous.  Maybe we should start at the basics of things.. I am all for community watch programs... But, we should educate people that community watch is just that.... You watch!  You call the police and let them handle the situation.  You don't go out all guns blazing!  That's stupid.  I also feel that people should be evaluated that they are mentally stable to handle any situation. Whether it be community watch, playground leader, life guard, etc.  I for one don't want my children being supervised by someone who could put them in danger at the flip of a switch.   A friend of my children recently found out that her cousin was beaten then strangled to death by her mother.  On the birthday of the girls father.  The mother and father shared custody and the mother got tired of it and she had recently broken up with a lover.  So, what does she do!  She kills her own child.. Then set the house on fire and then killed herself... Now to me this was very selfish of the mother.  If she didn't want to live.. (no I'm not condoning suicide) that would have been her choice, but to take her anger out on her own child... There's just no words to describe that.  You have these parents in jail that killed their children... Seriously why are they still in jail?  Why do we have to pay their way through life?  If justice was truly served then why do all these murderers get to live?  Why do they deserve something that they decided to play God and take from someone else?  Want to see our country strive and flourish?  Start showing some true justice in the judicial system.  Start emptying out death row... I know the Bible says  "Thou Shalt Not Kill".  But an eye for an eye is all I'm saying... If you take a life then you don't deserve your own.  You should also have to be a donor.  This way your body can be used to save someone else's life.  That would be the least that a murder could do.  Regardless it will NEVER bring back someone's child or loved one.  There are plenty of options if you fell the need to hurt anyone.  There was a 1 and 1/2 year old child who died because the mom's boyfriend raped the little girl....SERIOUSLY!!!!!  What is wrong with people?  I don't get it... How can anyone get off on doing anything to a child... Sexual things... REALLY.... I mean people like that should be put in rooms with murderers and all just go ahead and be put to death... This is just sick to say the least... But not only did this jerk violate this baby but now she's dead.... I don't know what else to say to try to get people to stand up against child murder or murder in general...Come on people why don't we stand together as a nation and be advocates against crime.... There are so many faces that haven't had any justice... I wish I had enough room and space to put each precious child on here... But, the truth is there are so many.... Children of all ages... May you all rest in the arms of God.
